I’m Kristen, a marketing and data analytics professional backed with a BSBA in Business Marketing and a minor in Psychology. I also hold an MBA with a focus in Business Analytics and Management Information Systems. Additionally, I have over 4 years of work experience in the Marketing Industry.

 

At East Carolina University, I actively participated in campus organizations. I am an active member of the American Marketing Association (AMA). I served as Marketing Director for Chi Omega and founded The Polaris Project, raising awareness and funds for human trafficking. I volunteer with Make-A-Wish Foundation, Autism Speaks, and my local church.

I’ve always had a deep passion for learning and a strong drive to excel, which stems from being the first in my family to go to university. 

This experience instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility and motivation to make the most of every opportunity. While in school, I balanced work and studies, using each to enhance the other. I pushed myself to go above and beyond, always getting great grades in school, but not just academically, in all aspects of my life, striving to always be the best version of myself.

 

Growing up in the digital age, I was drawn to the digital space early on, spending hours creating video edits, magazines, and exploring online platforms. This passion grew as I built my social media presence, eventually earning recognition from brands like YSL and Estée Lauder, who sent PR packages for me to showcase. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my marketing skill. To put my knowledge into practice, I started an online clothing boutique, ShopSugarpops.

 

I have always had a desire to immerse myself in the digital world, I started Keeks Marketing as a passion project. Combining my eye for trend-spotting, graphic design, and love of learning. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a business, with brands seeking me out for paid projects.
